Dear 11th form pupils, this week we began to study the topic about human rights. Let's contunue working on this topic by creating movies. This time you have to use other interesting programs such as http://utellstory.com/ and http://learn.narrable.com/. You have to use your voice as well as images and short youtube fims.
You may consult this document http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/ and use articles from it (for information on the Human Rights).
Be attentive to verb tenses, speak using present time and short clear sentences.
Please be creative when choosing pictures, fluent, accurate and comprehensive when recording your voices and employing topic vocabulary!
Have a look at the Rubric for assessing speaking skills https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cRkps4bZlAYQV3UHhmFpDWKFqzxJkM1F3SqDOgThb3c/edit
Here I have posted an example created in Utellstory(I haven't recorded my voice, but I am waiting for yours) Be more creative than your teacher. Good luck!
- To create a story you need to upload pictures saved on your computer, then add the narration to each slide.
- In the free version of UTellStory you have thirty seconds per slide and up to two minutes of total audio.
- You can rearrange your slides after recording by simply dragging them into the sequence in which you want them to appear.
